Project description:
"We are building a SaaS platform that already generates Tally XML for masters and sales vouchers.
We are looking for an experienced Tally Prime integration consultant to review, validate, and correct our existing XML and guide us on best practices.

This role is advisory and validation-focused.
The application and XML generation logic are already implemented by our team.

Scope of Work
The consultant will review our existing implementation and guide us to correctness.

Masters
- Ledger masters (customers, suppliers)
- Stock item masters
- Units of measure
- Tax / GST related ledgers and classifications
- Any required supporting masters for vouchers to work correctly

Transactions
- Sales vouchers (with inventory, GST, and ledger postings)
- Purchase / receipt / payment vouchers if required
- Stock movements and adjustments
- Voucher cancellation / reversal handling

Responsibilities
- Review our existing Tally XML
- Identify incorrect, missing, or misused tags
- Explain mandatory vs optional fields
- Explain why Tally silently ignores certain fields
- Suggest correct XML structures (“golden reference”)
- Validate XML via:
- Manual import into Tally Prime
- XML over HTTP (Tally local API)
- Advise required Tally Prime configurations
(voucher type, ledger settings, inventory settings, GST settings)
- Provide concise documentation so our internal team can apply fixes

Acceptance Criteria
A customer, item, and sales invoice created in our system appears correctly in Tally Prime with:
- Correct ledger posting
- Correct tax calculation
- Correct stock deduction
- Inventory quantities for each SKU match between both systems after sync
- XML failures are explainable and logged (no unexplained silent drops)
- Excel imports behave identically to XML imports

Mandatory Experience (Please Apply Only If You Meet All)
- Proven experience with Tally Prime XML integration
- Experience using XML over HTTP (Tally local API)
- Experience syncing both masters and vouchers
- Strong understanding of Tally voucher behavior, inventory, and GST
