Core expectations
• End-to-end subscription flow: sign-up, secure payment, recurring billing, plan upgrades or downgrades, and automated renewals
• Secure playback for uploaded movies and series with DRM or token-based protection
• Admin dashboard to upload titles, set metadata, organize categories, and view analytics on views, churn, and revenue
• At least email-and-password login on day one, with the codebase structured so adding social logins or two-factor auth is straightforward
• Cloud-ready architecture (AWS, GCP, or Azure) with CDN integration for smooth global delivery
• Source code, build instructions, and a short hand-over session once everything is live
