Project description:
"I’m looking to have a lightweight, web-based appointment scheduler built that lets my clients book time with me from any browser. At its core, the tool simply needs an intuitive calendar view and a clean form where visitors can type in their details (name, email, short note) before confirming a slot.
Key requirements
• Multiple calendar integration: I actively use Google Calendar and Outlook, so the system must read busy slots from both and write confirmed bookings back in real time. If you prefer a library or API wrapper that streamlines this sync, feel free to propose it.
• Social-media authentication: returning users should be able to sign in with Google or Facebook instead of creating yet another password. New visitors can book as guests.
• Basic admin panel: from a single screen I should be able to see, edit, or delete appointments and manually add one if someone phones in.
Deliverable
A responsive web app (React, Vue, or similar front-end — my only requirement is that the code is clean and commented) plus a small back-end that handles OAuth, calendar APIs, and stores events. Please include a brief README explaining local setup and deployment.
Acceptance criteria
1. A live demo URL where I can test end-to-end booking.
2. Successful two-way sync with both Google Calendar and Outlook in my test accounts.
3. Google and Facebook login flows pass without errors and return a JWT or session.
4. All form inputs properly saved and visible in the admin panel.
If you’ve built something similar, a quick screenshot or link will speed things up." (client-provided description)
