Project description:
"I have a C# desktop application that talks to Firebase. After wiring Microsoft Extensions Secret Manager into the project, a rebuild suddenly generates several gRPC-related DLLs.
If those DLLs stay in the output folder the program launches, but the moment I delete them (I never referenced gRPC myself) the EXE throws configuration‐style errors and refuses to start. I’m clearly pulling an unintended transitive package or MSBuild target and I’d like to strip it out cleanly—no dummy files, no manual copy-paste steps—while keeping Secret Manager fully functional.
I need you to:
• Trace why gRPC artifacts are appearing (package dependencies, build targets, or PublishTrimmed quirks).
• Adjust the csproj / NuGet graph or publish profile so the app builds and runs with nothing extra in the output.
• Provide a short write-up of the changes so I can repeat the fix in other branches.
You’re free to use any debugging approach—dotnet-sharp-dependency-tool, ILSpy, manual csproj edits, etc.—as long as the final deliverable is a clean compile, no runtime errors, and no unnecessary gRPC files." (client-provided description)
