"I need to take our existing e-commerce site to the next level by adding full multilingual support and tightening up the core shopping experience. Spanish is the first new language we must launch, and I am open to any additional languages you can comfortably deliver—anything beyond Chinese and English is welcome. All translated content has to live side-by-side with the current codebase and switch instantly without breaking user sessions or cart data.

The platform already runs on PHP, so every new piece—from language toggles to catalogue text—has to fit cleanly into that stack. While you are in the code, I also want the main shopping flows refined in PHP:

• Product search that respects the active language and ranks items correctly
• User reviews displayed and submitted in each shopper’s chosen language
• A rock-solid, multilingual cart that keeps prices, coupons, and inventory consistent across locales

The finished work should leave us with a visually consistent, mobile-friendly interface, proper character encoding, and clear instructions for adding more languages later. Please rely on best-practice i18n methods (gettext, JSON phrase files, or your preferred PHP approach) and give me deployment notes so I can move everything from staging to production without surprises.
