Here’s the functionality

Account creation and authentication using email credentials as well as third-party sign-in options such as Google and Apple, with support for basic personal preferences (e.g., skin shade, skin characteristics, known allergies).

Ability to upload a front-facing photo, which is processed asynchronously by the backend for facial analysis, resulting in a generated still image that shows a post-makeup appearance (no real-time AR).

Use the analysis output to recommend makeup styles, along with curated product suggestions. Each product can be labeled as already owned, not owned, replaceable with an alternative, or requiring AI assistance. Provide a clear, step-by-step makeup guide with checkboxes.

Simple create, read, update, and delete operations for a makeup product database, initially populated with a manually gathered set of roughly 50–500 items, including buy links and logic for suggesting substitutes based on rules or text similarity.

Option to save completed looks (including the look name, selected products, and application steps) and share them instantly to an in-app feed or externally through the device’s native sharing features for platforms like Instagram and TikTok.
