"Fruits Development company, based in Nigeria, exports fresh avocados to various companies worldwide. The current objective is to import avocados into India and distribute them within major cities, primarily through an e-commerce approach. While the initial focus is on avocados, the long-term goal is to expand the product range.
Two import options exist: sea and air freight. Sea freight arrives at Mumbai's Shiva port for onward distribution. Air freight can be routed to major metropolitan airports like Delhi, Mumbai, and other major metros. The initial marketing strategy targets established markets in major metropolitan areas such as Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, and Hyderabad, followed by expansion into second-tier cities like Ahmedabad and Visakhapatnam.
To facilitate e-commerce distribution, strategically located warehouses (stores) are required. These "stores" (store 1, store 2, store 3, etc.) will serve as dispatch points. The system should be flexible, allowing for the addition of new stores as needed. Orders placed through the e-commerce platform should be routed to the most optimal dispatch location."
