1. Software platform
The website will be developed on an open-source CMS platform such as WordPress, Drupal, or a similar system that enables a customised template, simple editing workflow, and flexible long-term management. The CMS should support modular expansion, custom menus, and user-friendly content updates by non-technical staff.
The design must allow clean navigation, modern layouts, and accessibility across mobile, tablet and desktop.

2. Theme, Colour and Branding
The visual theme must align with the company’s mission and the colour palette of the Mansoon logo (white, blue, black and grey) which will be provided. The design should convey trust, stability, community and professionalism. Typography and iconography should be consistent across the site. The template must support the integration of the existing logo, with scalable placement in both header and footer.

The website will follow a structured menu layout with submenu items covering all key information areas. Each submenu item will open a dedicated page with a clean, modern layout and clear headings.

The homepage (aka landing page) will include all menu items displayed prominently with a clean layout. A triangle-shaped central panel will highlight the organisation’s core goals (an example is provided below):


A. Supporting residents to build everyday skills for independent living
B. Cooperating with local authorities to meet legal requirements and develop strong partnerships to combat homelessness
C. Helping landlords achieve peace of mind through long-term leases including full maintenance and repair services
The homepage should also allow space for quick links, contact details, and optional featured updates.

Note: The Developer is required to help building the homepage with the relevant data to be provided by the client. The rest of the page will be managed by the client.

5. Section-by-Section Page Layout Guidance
Each main area will have clear, styled layouts with logical separation of content. Suggested approach:
Our Values: A structured page with visually separated value statements, icons, or boxed sections.
Our Vision & Mission: A dedicated page with a clear mission text, vision statement and optional imagery.
Our Services: Either a separate page or a multi-section page showing all service categories.

Other Sections: Complaints, ASB, Safeguarding, Local Authority, Landlord and Staff pages should follow consistent formatting for headings, subheadings, call-to-action buttons and downloadable resources.

6. Logo Integration
The existing Mansoon logo will be incorporated into the header and footer. The template must support both light and dark background options for flexibility. Placement should enhance brand recognition without overwhelming the layout.

The domain name is already registered. The developer will initially deploy the website in a temporary staging environment to allow testing, review and content population. Final transfer to the live hosting environment will occur during the handover phase, once the site is signed off.

This is a straightforward CMS-based project. The expected timeline is:
• Development and design: Up to 2 weeks from project start
• Handover period: An additional 1 week, including training, documentation and migration to live hosting
