Project description:
"I’m heading a new studio and our first release is an open-world crime epic targeting GTA-level fidelity. We are already prototyping in Unreal Engine 5 and have the narrative, core New York city layout, and art direction in place. Now we need extra firepower to transform the vision into a fully playable experience on PC and modern PlayStation/Xbox hardware.
The most urgent gap is in gameplay programming: character and vehicle controls, mission scripting, AI behaviour, physics-driven interactions, and world-streaming systems that keep a dense, living city running at 60 fps. Anyone who has shipped, modded, or seriously tinkered with large-scale UE projects will feel right at home.
Alongside that code work, ultra-high-detail 3D assets remain a constant need—photoreal characters, interiors, props, and vehicles that stand shoulder-to-shoulder with today’s AAA benchmarks. If your portfolio already shows nanite-ready models or advanced material setups, that’s a strong plus.
What you’ll deliver:
• Gameplay feature modules or systems fully integrated into our UE5 project (blueprints or C++ as appropriate).
• Optimised, console-ready 3D assets that slot straight into the existing art pipeline.
• Clean, well-commented commits to the Git repo, with brief documentation so the wider team can pick up your work quickly.
• At least one short in-engine demo sequence proving your feature or asset in context.
Collaboration is remote, organised through Perforce & Jira, with weekly playtest builds and milestone reviews on Discord. If building a next-gen sandbox—where every alleyway, getaway, and gunfight counts—sounds like your kind of challenge, let’s talk and see where your expertise can push the project forward."
