"I’m kicking off a brand-new API-only product and I want the core written in NodeJS, running under the Bun runtime for its speed advantages. The service’s unique value is a layer of custom AI functionality, so you’ll be weaving AI toolchains into the business logic from day one—think OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain, or whatever else you prefer to get us there quickly and reliably.

Because collaboration speed matters, I’m online during California daylight hours (PST/PDT) and need you to overlap with me for stand-ups, code reviews, and quick iterations. Async work is fine, but at least four shared hours per day will keep momentum high.

Key expectations
• Design and implement scalable REST (or GraphQL, if you can justify it) endpoints in NodeJS on Bun
• Embed AI features—model calls, prompt templates, or fine-tuning workflows—directly into the API layer
• Write clear tests and documentation so future contributors can jump in without friction
• Work in GitHub with conventional commits and small, reviewable pull requests

Acceptance criteria
1. All endpoints run under Bun with reproducible local setup instructions
2. AI functionality exposed via clearly documented routes and returns expected results on test prompts
3. Unit and integration tests passing in CI
4. Codebase lint-clean and covered by at least 80 % automated tests
