"I have pulled an open-source “Dofus Retro” hook-based bot from GitHub and need the whole solution refreshed so it runs cleanly today. The code compiles but shows its age, and it still tries to log in through its own connection layer instead of handing control back to the game.

Your mission is twofold: modernise the project and boost in-game action accuracy. In practice, that means updating every outdated dependency, refactoring any deprecated calls, and fully disabling the custom connection system so authentication happens only through Dofus Retro itself. While you’re inside the codebase, I’d like subtle but meaningful accuracy gains in how the bot reads packets, times moves, and executes actions. No new features are required; the focus is enhancing what already exists.

Key deliverables
• A cleaned, up-to-date solution that builds without warnings on the current toolchain (the repo is in C#).
• Connection layer refactored so the bot no longer manages its own login; all traffic must flow through the game client.
• Demonstrable increase in the accuracy of automated actions (e.g., fewer mis-clicks, correct spell targeting).
• A concise changelog documenting every file touched and why, plus any config steps I need to repeat the build.

Please be comfortable working with hook-based automation, packet parsing, and performance profiling in C#. If you can link previous similar refactors or share benchmarks, that will help me decide quickly.
