"Experienced Web Developer Needed for Real Estate Portfolio Management + Flagship Website Redesign
Overview

We are a real estate ownership and development group based in Jersey City, NJ, managing a growing portfolio of apartment buildings and corresponding websites. We are seeking a high-quality, long-term web developer to:

1. Manage and maintain our existing portfolio of real estate websites, and
2. Lead a full redesign and expansion of our flagship property website: to reflect the addition of a second phase of the project.

This is not a one-off task — we are looking for a trusted technical partner who can grow with us as our portfolio expands.


Primary Project: Redesign & Expansion

Our existing website, represents a residential apartment community currently branded as 3 Acres. We are now adding Phase II, a connected building called 3 Acres West, which will include 189 new apartment units.

The redesigned website must:
• Clearly present two connected buildings
• Seamlessly market both phases as one cohesive community
• Allow for phased leasing, availability updates, and future growth
• Elevate the overall branding, design, and user experience

We are not looking for a template clone — but rather a site that matches this level of quality, polish, and usability.

Ongoing Responsibilities

Beyond the redesign, this role will include:
• Ongoing maintenance and updates across our portfolio of property websites
• Performance optimization and bug fixes
• Content updates (images, copy, floor plans, leasing info)
• Coordination with our internal team as new projects come online
• Ensuring sites remain modern, secure, and scalable

Technical & Skill Requirements

We are flexible on stack, but you should have strong experience with:
• Modern responsive web design
• Real estate / apartment leasing websites
• CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow, or comparable)
• Performance optimization and SEO best practices
• Clean, maintainable code
• Strong attention to branding and UX

Experience with multi-phase developments, leasing funnels, or property portfolios is a major plus.


Compensation & Engagement
• We have a clear budget and compensation structure in place
• Open to fixed-price for the redesign plus ongoing monthly support
• Long-term relationship preferred over short-term execution
