"I need a production-ready, real-time link that pushes customer records and work orders created or updated in Dynamics 365 Field Service straight into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Latency should be measured in seconds, not minutes, and the flow is strictly one-way—from Field Service to Business Central.
Both systems are already live under the same tenant; I will provide sandbox access, sample data, and any required app registrations. You are free to leverage Dataverse, standard integration templates, custom APIs, Azure Service Bus, or Power Automate—whatever keeps the solution fully Microsoft-supported and cloud-friendly.
Key points to cover
• Accurate field mapping so every relevant attribute (names, addresses, contacts, statuses, line items, pricing, taxes) lands in the correct Business Central tables with zero manual touch-ups.
• Robust error handling and retry logic that logs failures and emails our admin mailbox.
• Clear deployment documentation plus a brief hand-off session so my team can maintain the connection going forward.
Acceptance criteria
1. Creating or updating a customer in Field Service reflects in Business Central within 30 seconds.
2. Posting or updating a work order in Field Service creates or updates a Service Order (or equivalent) in Business Central with full line detail.
3. Failed transactions are retried automatically and surfaced in a log table we can view from Power BI.
