Project description:
"I run regular product-review webinars and need a seamless way to sell and manage seats directly from our existing Gearfire storefront. Here’s the experience I’m after:
Customers land on a dedicated “webinar product” page coming from a Gearfire link. They browse photos and a description of the item we’ll review, choose from 20–40 available seats, create an account, and check out with standard credit or debit cards (Stripe or another PCI-compliant gateway is fine).
Once payment clears, the system must:
• Reserve the seat, decrement the count in real time, and hide the webinar once it’s sold out.
• Store the purchase in the user’s profile and purchase-history area.
• Email a unique, non-shareable Zoom link plus calendar details.
• Remind attendees automatically when the webinar is about to start and let them set their own notification preferences.
During the broadcast I announce the product winner; immediately afterward the platform should trigger a confirmation email to that person while informing everyone else the event is closed.
From the admin side I need a simple dashboard to create future “webinar products,” set seat capacity, view registrants, and recycle the same page slot for the next item as soon as one sells out.
Acceptance criteria
1. Gearfire → webinar page handoff is one click and preserves UTM parameters.
2. Seat inventory updates instantly with no over-selling in parallel checkouts.
3. Unique Zoom links cannot be reused by more than one login.
4. Emails fire reliably: purchase confirmation, 24-hour reminder, 1-hour reminder, winner notification.
5. All user data—including profile details, purchase history, and notification settings—is stored securely and complies with GDPR/CCPA.
If you’ve built event ticketing portals, Shopify or WooCommerce seat-management plugins, or tight Zoom API integrations, you’ll feel right at home. Let me know which stack you recommend and a high-level timeline; I’m ready to start as soon as we agree on an approach. During the webinar we would like the zoom shared screen to use a random numbered wheel to select the winner. When the wheel lands on a particular slot both that name and number with the slot extend forward highlighting the winner." (client-provided description)
