"I want an Android-only chat application that lets users exchange plain text messages quickly and reliably. One-to-one texting is the core, and I also need group chat rooms so several users can follow the same thread. Voice and video calls are out of scope for now—please channel your effort into polished messaging that updates in real time.

Security and usability are both important to me. Messages should travel over HTTPS, and any local cache must be encrypted. A clean Material-style UI, push notifications, simple emoji support, message read status, and graceful handling of slow connections will make the experience complete.
