"My website’s core logic is written in PHP and a series of functional bugs are disrupting everyday use—pages throw errors, certain actions don’t complete, and some data simply never reaches the database. I need a sharp-eyed PHP developer to comb through the entire backend, pinpoint each issue, and deliver clean, stable code that restores full functionality.

You’ll be working directly in the existing codebase (plain PHP with a few custom classes—no framework), so comfort reading and refactoring legacy scripts is essential. I will grant repository access and staging credentials so you can test fixes without touching production.

Acceptance criteria and hand-off:
• Every identified functional bug is reproduced, fixed, and re-tested on staging.
• A concise changelog notes which files were updated, why, and the steps used to verify each fix.
• No new warnings or notices appear in the error log for 48 hours after deployment.
