"Full-Stack Developer Needed – Build Subscription-Based Web Application from Existing Prototype
Project Overview

I have an existing front-end prototype of a web application and a purchased custom domain. I am looking for an experienced full-stack developer to rebuild and productionize this application into a commercial-grade web app with user accounts, subscriptions, and media uploads.

This is intended to become a sellable SaaS product, so clean architecture, data integrity, and predictable delivery are important.

Scope of Work
1. Core Application

Rebuild the existing prototype into a stable, production-ready web application

Desktop-first UI (responsive, but optimized for desktop workflows)

Multi-step user workflows

Persistent backend storage (not browser-only)

Clean structure suitable for future feature expansion

2. User Accounts & Authentication

Secure user registration and login

Password reset / account recovery

User-specific data isolation

Scalable user model (admin features may be added later)

3. Subscriptions & Payments

Free tier + at least one paid tier

Integration with a mainstream payment provider (e.g. Stripe)

Subscription lifecycle handling (upgrade, downgrade, cancel)

Feature gating based on subscription plan

Architecture must support adding additional tiers later

4. Media Uploads (Images + OBS Videos)

Users must be able to upload, view, download, and manage media files tied to their entries.

Supported media

Images: JPG / PNG / WEBP

Video: MP4 only (OBS-compatible)

Limits (must be enforced server-side)

Images: max 5 MB each

Videos: max 15 minutes duration and 500 MB file size

Max attachments per entry: 10 total files (configurable)

Auto-generated single thumbnail per video (fixed capture point, no manual selection)

Resumable uploads using provider-supported multipart uploads

No custom pause/resume UI required

Video transcoding, compression, or re-encoding

Custom CDN tuning beyond standard object storage delivery

Proper backend database (SQLite / MySQL / Postgres acceptable)

The budget for this project is on the lower side, and proposals should reflect realistic scoping and tradeoffs.

I am not looking for extreme low-ball bids that cannot deliver the described scope.
I am looking for:

Honest communication if adjustments are needed to stay on budget
