2. Core Functional Requirements
2.1 Centralized Invoice Synchronization
Every invoice issued from any module must automatically synchronize with eBilling.
Invoice numbering must be:
Globally unique
Sequential
Immutable after issuance
The eBilling module shall not create invoices independently; it aggregates and governs invoices issued elsewhere.
2.2 *** Integration & Status Tracking
Upon invoice issuance:
Invoice data must be transmitted to *** immediately or via queue-based processing.
The *** transmission status must be updated in real time.
Invoice Status Values
Sent
Not Sent (failed / pending / retryable)
Failures must be logged for traceability and retry mechanisms.
2.3 Invoice Printing & Print Log Management
The first print action must generate:
One Tax Invoice
One Customer Invoice
Every print action must:
Increment a print counter
Be logged with timestamp and user identity
Print logs must be immutable for audit compliance.
2.4 Invoice Return (Bill Return)
Issued invoices must support return functionality.
Invoice returns must:
Create a reverse accounting entry
Update IRD with return/adjustment data
Returned invoices must remain visible with clear status indicators.
Physical deletion of invoices is prohibited.
