Push notifications should arrive promptly, even when the app is in the background, and messages must sync reliably across devices when a user reinstalls or logs in on another phone.

A minimal news-feed or marketplace is not required at this stage; the focus is the messaging layer and smooth onboarding flow. Feel free to integrate Firebase, Supabase, or another proven back-end so long as it keeps delivery times under one second and supports end-to-end encryption.
