Project Overview

MixerCloud is a live networking and community platform with a production native iOS app built in SwiftUI. We are looking for an experienced Android engineer to clone the existing iOS app into a fully native Android application.

This is not a cross-platform build. The goal is to maintain true native apps:
• iOS: SwiftUI (already built)
• Android: Jetpack Compose / Compose UI using Kotlin

Both platforms will stay independent while sharing core functionality.

Goal

Launch a high-quality Android MVP on Google Play by February 28 with:
• Most of the key features already available on MixerCloud
• Exclusion of highly nuanced or time-intensive features that would push us past the deadline
• A strong foundation to iterate and add more features post-launch

This will be a phased rollout.

Scope of Work (Phase 1 – MVP)
• Clone core features and user flows from the existing iOS SwiftUI app
• Build a native Android app using Jetpack Compose
• Match primary screens, navigation, and core UX (Android-appropriate)
• Help prioritize:
• What ships in v1
• What is deferred to later phases
• Exclude edge-case or complex features that significantly extend timeline
• Ensure Google Play Store compliance
• Set up clean, maintainable Android architecture for future phases
