"I’m developing a comic and want it to read and look like authentic Japanese manga. Initially you will be doing one or two pages, and if I like your work, including how you communicate, how quickly you complete tasks and so on, this will be fairly ongoing.


Here’s what I do need locked in:

• Sequential artwork that captures dynamic motion, expressive characters, and strong storytelling.
• Consistent character and environment designs carried across every page.
• Clean black-and-white line work with screentone or grayscale shading—print-ready at 600 dpi.
• Deliverables as layered PSD or Clip Studio files plus flattened PNG/PDF for quick reviews.

I have the core plot beats outlined but can either hand you a complete script or collaborate on storyboards and dialogue if you enjoy that part of the process.

Show me samples of your sequential art, let me know your typical turnaround time per page, and we can go from there.
Please note that you should place your bid for your cost of completing two black and white pages with screentone.
Please note the following things are non negotiable for this project:
- Communication and payment will be handled through freelancer only.
- Your bid is what you will be paid, nothing further.
- Your bid is expected to resemble what you would consistently charge; unreasonable price increases on future works will see you let go from the project
- An IP will be sent for completing and must be done PRIOR to any payment is made.
- Showing any examples of other artists work claiming it as your own, will end up with your profile being reported.
- Showing AI generated work as example work will result in you not being selected.

If you bid on the project, expect that I will need to see examples of your work relevant to this field - if you have no relevant work and cannot show any, you wont be accepted.
I will likely have questions for any artists that bid on the project, and if your response to an initial reach out with questions is "hello" with no follow up to questions, I wont pursue any further and move on to the next candidate." (client-provided description)
