"I’m experiencing persistent 404 (Not Found) messages across our public-facing company website. Any link a visitor clicks returns the same error, so the entire site is effectively offline.

Key context
• The site runs on an in-house, custom-built CMS and not on WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal.
• All pages that should exist in the database are still there—the URLs simply no longer resolve.

What I need from you
Diagnose the root cause and restore every live URL so that visitors reach the correct content again. This may involve reviewing server configuration (Apache/Nginx rules, .htaccess, virtual hosts), URL-routing logic inside our custom framework, and any recent code pushes that may have broken path mapping. If permanent redirects are required, set them up so we don’t lose SEO equity.

Deliverables
• Analysis report pinpointing why the 404s occur
• Updated server and/or application-level routing rules committed to our repo
• Verification that all previously broken links now load correctly (I’ll provide a list of key URLs for spot-checking)
• Brief hand-off note describing the fix so our internal devs can maintain it
