Project description:
"I’ve finished the visual design and locked it down as a high-resolution JPEG. Now I need that exact look translated into clean, responsive HTML and CSS with only a sprinkle of vanilla JavaScript where absolutely necessary.
Key points you should know before diving in:
• The layout must be indistinguishable from the mock-up at common breakpoints—think true pixel perfection, not “close enough.”
• Tiny, tasteful transitions are part of the brief. They’re limited to simple slider-style image changes (no complex loaders or animation libraries) and can be handled entirely in CSS, though a few lines of JS for timing is fine.
• No frameworks—so forget Bootstrap or jQuery. I want lightweight, semantic markup and modern CSS (Flexbox, Grid, custom properties) with graceful fallback in older browsers.
• Please keep the codebase tidy and well-commented; I’ll be handing it to a back-end team next.
Deliverables
1. Fully responsive HTML, CSS, and (if used) JS files. Mobile friendly.
2. All assets embedded or neatly referenced so I can drop the folder onto a server and go.
3. A brief read-me explaining any build steps or browser considerations.
I’m looking for someone who has done this many times, knows the subtle tricks for perfect alignment, and won’t be tempted to lean on AI shortcuts. If that sounds like you, let’s talk timelines and move this from JPEG to flawless code." (client-provided description)
