"I have an Unreal Engine 5 mobile build that runs acceptably on high-end phones but struggles on the mid-range devices that matter to my audience. I need someone who can dive into the project, profile it, and squeeze out extra frames while lowering runtime memory consumption—without sacrificing the visual quality that makes the game stand out.
The priorities are clear:
• Remove GPU and CPU bottlenecks that hurt frame-rate on typical mid-range Android/iOS hardware.
• Cut peak and average memory usage so the app passes store requirements and avoids OS kills.
You’ll have access to the full UE5 project and any existing StatGPU, StatMem, and Unreal Insights captures I’ve generated. I’m looking for measurable improvements, so please be comfortable working with Unreal’s built-in profilers, RenderDoc or similar GPU tools, and memory analyzers.
Deliverables I expect:
1. An optimized project build (or clearly documented patch files) that hits a stable, higher FPS target on representative mid-range devices.
2. A brief before-and-after report summarizing key changes, profiling screenshots, and the memory/performance gains achieved.
3. Recommendations for any ongoing best practices the team should follow as we add new content.
