I run a live PHP site hosted on cPanel that already pulls data from several MySQL databases and turns it into operational reports. I now need two focused tweaks:

1. Tighten validation on a handful of user-input fields so they reject any space characters. All other current behaviour must stay intact.
2. Extend the existing reporting module by inserting a new data point I will provide; the report layout, export options and query logic should continue to work exactly as they do now.

Please work directly in our Git repository (or via cPanel if you prefer) and keep changes well-commented so future iterations remain straightforward. Once these tasks are stable in staging, I’ll move them to production and schedule further enhancements—so think of this as the first step in an ongoing collaboration.

Deliverables
• Updated PHP validation logic blocking spaces in the specified fields
• Modified report file(s) pulling and displaying the new information
• Brief change log so I can track what was touched
