PowerPoint PPAM Add-in to Flip Slide Layouts Between English (LTR) and Arabic (RTL)
Project Description
I’m looking for an experienced PowerPoint VBA / COM developer to build a PowerPoint Add-in (.PPAM) that flips slide layouts between English (Left-to-Right) and Arabic (Right-to-Left).
This project is not about translation.
All text already exists.
The task is purely about layout flipping, text direction, and alignment, while keeping all formatting exactly as it is.
The add-in must work on standard .pptx files and must not embed macros into the output files.
What the Add-in Should Do
The add-in should support both directions:
• English → Arabic (LTR → RTL)
• Arabic → English (RTL → LTR)
When run, it should update the current slide (or slides) to match the target language’s layout style.

Title Behavior
• Detect the Title text box
• Do not move or reposition the title
• Update only:
o Text direction (RTL for Arabic, LTR for English)
o Text alignment (Right for Arabic, Left for English)
• All formatting must remain unchanged:
o Font
o Size
o Color
o Line spacing
o Any existing styling

Subtitle Behavior
• Detect the Subtitle text box
• Update text direction and alignment appropriately
• The subtitle must remain perfectly aligned directly under the title
o If layout changes cause the subtitle to drift or misalign, the add-in must correct this
• Formatting must be preserved exactly

For all shapes below the title and subtitle (text boxes, tables, images, icons, charts, etc.):
• Flip the layout horizontally to match the target language direction
• Update text direction and alignment where applicable
• Preserve:
o Fonts and font sizes
o Bullet formatting
o Tables (cell structure must not break)
o Images and icons
o Z-order
o Spacing and relative positioning
The final visual result should look like a native Arabic slide when converting from English, and like a native English slide when converting from Arabic.

• No translation
