"My Windows desktop application crashes every time it launches. The failure happens right after the splash screen, at the point where the program begins its remote-site checking routine. If you can locate and jump beyond this check, then provide me with a brief summary of what need to be repeated in future update, that will close the job.

The codebase is probably C#/.NET and built with Visual Studio; you are free to use any to you prefer as long as you deliver a working EXE solution. I will supply the access to the sandbox and exe if needed.
