"My ePayyatra recharge app works smoothly on most phones, yet on some Android devices—most noticeably the Redmi 14 XIVI—the screens don’t scale correctly and the dark theme never appears. I’ve attached a short screen-recording that shows both issues side-by-side.

What I need is a clean, maintainable fix that:
****Cordova Technology
• Reflows every screen so layouts stay centred and readable across the full range of common Android sizes and densities.
• Activates the dark theme consistently, respecting system-wide settings and Material guidelines.
• Leaves no visual regressions in light mode.

You are free to use your preferred stack (the project was built in Android Studio with standard XML layouts and Kotlin), but please keep any new libraries lightweight and well-documented in the code comments.

Acceptance
— I run the updated APK on the Redmi 14 XIVI and two other test devices of different sizes; both layout and dark mode behave as expected.
— A concise change log or Git diff accompanies the delivery so I can merge straight into the main branch.
