"I want to extend our current Salesforce + Google Workspace setup with a focused Gmail add-on that makes lead handling friction-free. When an inquiry lands in any shared inbox, the add-on should let a team member assign that email to a colleague, move it instantly into one of our preset status buckets which will be defined by us (the labels must be visible right inside the Gmail side panel), and, only when the user deliberately clicks a “Create Lead” button, push the information into Salesforce as a new Lead or other root object.

Role-based controls are essential. Juniors must see only the records they own, whereas Seniors/Admins need full visibility and the ability to re-assign or change bucket positions. All actions should be logged back to Salesforce so we keep our single source of truth & need not login separately.

I expect the add-on to work in both desktop Gmail and the Gmail mobile app; if mobile API limitations arise, a lightweight HTML page opened from the add-on is acceptable as long as it keeps the user flow inside Gmail. Please build on the official Google Workspace Add-on framework (Apps Script or another approved method) and connect to Salesforce via REST or the Lightning API so we avoid extra log-ins.

• Sidebar UI for assignment, bucket movement (A–G), and the explicit “Create Lead” action

• Installation guide and short video demo confirming end-to-end flow
