"I need a straightforward desktop-based solution that keeps every kilo of raw material visible from receipt to consumption. The software must update stock levels in real time, trigger purchase orders automatically whenever a preset threshold is reached, and analyse past usage to forecast future demand as well as optimise order quantities.

My priority features are:
• Real-time tracking tied to batch or lot numbers
• Automated reordering with editable reorder points and supplier lead-times
• Inventory and demand forecasting that surfaces clear reorder dates and suggested quantities

The interface can be Windows-native, cross-platform desktop (e.g., Electron, .NET MAUI, JavaFX) or web-app deployed to an on-prem server—whatever delivers fast local performance; mobile/tablet access is not required at this stage.

Please outline:
1. The tech stack you propose and why it suits a desktop deployment.
2. How to organise supply chain
2. How you will capture receipts, issues, returns, and waste while keeping the data accurate in real time.
3. The forecasting model you plan to use (simple moving average, exponential smoothing, ML, etc.) and how it can be tweaked as our demand patterns evolve.
4. Milestones: prototype, user testing, final hand-off including all source code and basic user documentation.
