"The goal is to build a desktop application that centralises and streamlines data management for my daily operations. I need a full-featured program—installable on local machines—that lets me import, organise, search, edit and export datasets without relying on a web browser or cloud connection.

Core expectations
• Clean, intuitive UI that non-technical staff can navigate quickly
• Reliable CRUD functionality with sorting, filtering and bulk actions
• Local database integration (SQLite, or another lightweight engine you propose)
• Secure user authentication and role-based access
• Printable and downloadable reports in common formats (PDF, CSV)
• Well-commented source code, an installer and brief setup guide

I work primarily on Windows, yet a cross-platform framework such as Electron, Qt or .NET MAUI is welcome if it keeps future porting options open. Language and toolkit are flexible as long as performance remains smooth and maintenance straightforward.

Deliverables

Acceptance criteria: the executable installs without errors, loads a test dataset under 5 000 records in under five seconds, executes add/edit/delete operations flawlessly, and exports matching reports exactly as requested.
