"I need an Android-only mobile application whose core purpose is to let users connect and interact in a social-media style environment—posting updates, commenting, following profiles, and exchanging direct messages. All screens should first be drafted in Canva so the visual language is locked in before moving to code.

Scope of work
• Translate rough sketches and feature notes into polished Canva mock-ups (colours, typography, iconography, basic micro-interactions).
• Build the native Android application that mirrors those mock-ups, using Kotlin or Java plus Android Studio.
• Integrate standard social functions: user registration/login, profile editing, feed with like/comment, simple chat, and push notifications.
• Ensure responsive layouts across common device sizes and provide at least one round of revisions on both design and code.

Deliverables
1. Canva design file(s) and exported PNGs/PDFs.
2. Complete Android Studio project with clean, well-commented source code.
3. Signed APK ready for testing plus publishing instructions.
4. Brief hand-over document outlining libraries, APIs, and build steps.

Acceptance criteria
• Every screen matches the approved Canva design within reason (spacing, colours, assets).
• The app installs on Android 8.0+ devices without crashing and all listed features work end-to-end.
• Source compiles without missing dependencies; build instructions reproduce the APK.
