Project description:
"I’m putting together a browser-based media manipulator powered by React and Fabric.js. The canvas should let users bring in images and videos (and, if it fits your architecture, lightweight custom widgets), arrange them freely, and then perform the key edits I’ve outlined:
• Crop and resize any image directly on the canvas, preserving aspect ratio when desired.
• Layer multiple images so they can be reordered visually with drag-and-drop or simple controls.
• Add videos to the same canvas, scale or reposition them, and keep playback smooth while other objects are present.
A React component structure that keeps state predictable (hooks + context or Redux—your choice) is important, and [login to view URL] must handle all rendering so we stay GPU-accelerated. I’ll need clean, well-commented code delivered in a Git repo plus a short README that explains setup, build, and how you wired [login to view URL] into React. Create reusable utility functions for common actions such as adding media, toggling layer visibility, and exporting the final composition (PNG or JSON).
Cross-browser support for modern Chromium, Firefox, and Safari is required, and the UI should be responsive enough to work comfortably on a tablet. I’m happy to discuss extra touches—filters, snapping, or simple timeline controls—once the core cropping, resizing, and layering workflow is solid." (client-provided description)
