"I need a WordPress-based business directory built from the ground up. The site will exclusively list businesses, so every design and feature decision should serve that purpose. I want a modern, clean aesthetic—think generous white space, sharp typography, and a neutral palette that can accommodate future branding tweaks without a full redesign.

Core functionality must include:
• Powerful search that returns relevant businesses fast, even as the database grows
• Category filters so visitors can drill down by industry, location, or any custom taxonomy we set up
• User-generated reviews with star ratings and comment moderation

I’m happy to let you choose the best combination of theme framework and plugins (e.g., Elementor, CPT UI, Advanced Custom Fields, GeoDirectory, or ListingPro) as long as the final build is lightweight, secure, and easy for non-technical staff to update.

Deliverables:
