"I am looking to build a small-scale, Airbnb-style marketplace MVP for private presale homes and villas under construction.
This is not a marketing website.
It is a functional marketplace MVP focused on browsing listings and collecting qualified inquiries.
Core concept
• Two-sided marketplace
• Builders / developers list presale homes
• Buyers browse and submit inquiries
• Platform is curated and admin-approved
• No payments, no bookings in MVP
Primary goal
Launch a credible, production-ready MVP that looks and feels like a simplified Airbnb-style platform, suitable for onboarding home builders and developers.
Required functionality (MVP scope)
Buyer side:
• Browse listings in a clean grid (Airbnb-style UI)
• Filter by city / location, property type, status
• Listing detail page with image gallery and key info
• Inquiry / contact form per listing
Builder side:
• “Apply to list” form (manual approval by admin)
• No self-serve publishing in MVP
Admin:
• Admin approval of listings
• Ability to add / edit / remove listings
• Basic content management
Explicit exclusions (important)
• No payments
• No user accounts for buyers
• No messaging system
• No saved favorites
• No complex map logic
• No over-engineering
This must stay lean.
Design expectations
• Clean, minimal, product-style UI
• Neutral and professional (similar to Airbnb, not flashy)
• White background, simple typography
• Mobile-responsive
Design should feel trustworthy and premium, not graphic or marketing-heavy.
Technology
Open to no-code / low-code or lightweight custom solutions, as long as:
• The MVP is fast to build
• Easy to iterate
• Scalable enough for phase 2
I am specifically looking for someone with marketplace MVP experience (two-sided platforms).
Timeline
• Target: first usable MVP in 2–4 weeks
