"I run several public-facing sites on WordPress and need a dependable developer who can jump in whenever an update or issue appears. Most tasks are straightforward—swapping text or images, resolving plugin conflicts, tightening load times—but every so often you’ll build a small custom feature in PHP, JavaScript, or CSS.

The workload fluctuates: some weeks it’s a five-minute tweak, other weeks a handful of deeper fixes. I’m happy to start on a tracked-hourly arrangement and, once we build rapport, move to a predictable monthly retainer.

What matters to me is fast, clear communication, careful use of staging and backups, and concise Git-based changelogs so I always know what changed. You’ll need solid knowledge of WordPress core, hooks, and filters plus comfort with page builders such as Gutenberg or Elementor. Experience with Shopify or Webflow is a nice bonus for the occasional landing-page migration, but 95 % of the work will stay in WordPress.
