"I’m looking for a seasoned SAP TM ABAP developer to extend and fine-tune the Transportation Planning / Vehicle Scheduling (TP/VS) component so our planners can generate tighter, conflict-free schedules in less time. The core of the assignment is to embed custom logic where standard TP/VS falls short, boosting both runtime performance and planning accuracy.

You’ll work inside our existing SAP TM landscape, writing clean, object-oriented ABAP and activating the relevant BAdIs or BOPF enhancements that steer the planning run. Typical touchpoints include custom strategy functions, user exits for carrier selection, and lightweight helper reports that visualise plan quality. I’ll provide functional specs and test data; your job is to supply:

• Transport requests with fully tested code
• Brief technical and user documentation
• A walkthrough session so my in-house team can support the solution going forward
