"I’m ready to build a specialized logistics website and the core piece I need help with is an interactive tariff simulator. The platform has to let users enter a product description or an HTS code and instantly return the correct HTS selection along with the corresponding duties, taxes, and surcharge totals. Accuracy and speed are far more important to me than fancy visuals, but the interface still needs to be clear and intuitive for end-users who may not be freight experts.

Key elements I need developed:
• Front-end form where a visitor can type a product description or paste an HTS code.
• Smart matching logic that identifies the proper HTS item and applies the right duty rate.
• Dynamic calculation engine showing landed cost in real time (displaying duties, taxes, fees, and a grand total).
• Structured database (or API integration if you already have one in mind) that holds up-to-date HTS tables and rates for fast look-ups.
• Simple admin area where I can upload an updated HTS file whenever tariffs change.

I don’t need a full-blown e-commerce cart right now, but I do want clean expansion paths for future add-ons such as real-time shipment tracking or online booking. Please outline the tech stack you prefer, any libraries or APIs you would leverage for tariff data, and roughly how long you’ll need.

Acceptance criteria
1. Typing “men’s cotton shirt” or “6205.20.20” returns the same HTS match and duty rate.
2. Duty and tax totals recalculate instantly when weight or declared value fields change.
3. Admin upload of a new HTS CSV refreshes the simulator without breaking existing queries.
4. Responsive design: simulator must work smoothly on desktop and mobile.
5. Entering the loading and ETA dates to determine past, present and future primary HTS codes.
