We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced freelance WordPress developer to lead a complete redesign and rebuild of our company website, bullwhiplogistics.ca. Our current site is outdated, and we need a modern, professional, and highly functional replacement that effectively showcases our services and is optimized for search engines.

The ideal candidate will not only be an expert in web design and development but will also build the site with our non-technical team in mind. The final product must be easy for us to manage, edit, and update on our own, particularly for adding new content and blog posts.

Key Deliverables & Scope of Work:

1. Strategy & Design:

Collaborate with us to understand our brand and goals, and propose a new site structure and user flow.

Create a clean, modern, and professional visual design that is fully responsive and looks exceptional on all devices (desktop, tablet, and mobile).

Design intuitive and user-friendly navigation.

2. WordPress Development:

Build a new custom WordPress site from the ground up or by heavily customizing a premium, lightweight theme.

Crucially, implement a user-friendly page builder (like Elementor Pro, Beaver Builder, or an advanced Gutenberg block setup) that allows our team to easily edit text, swap images, and manage content without needing to touch code.

Develop clear and distinct page templates for:

Landing Page

About Us

A "Services" parent page with a template for individual service pages (e.g., Warehousing, Freight, etc.).

A dedicated Blog page with a clean post listing and a well-designed single post template.

Contact Us page with a form and integrated map.

Integrate an interactive and easily editable service area map on our "Manitoba Courier Service" page. The solution must allow our non-technical team to update service zones/areas directly from the WordPress admin dashboard without any coding.

Seamlessly integrate links to our existing Ontime 360 customer portal, ensuring they are prominent and easy for our clients to find.

3. SEO & Performance:

Implement a comprehensive on-page SEO strategy. This includes:

Installing and configuring a leading SEO plugin (e.g., Yoast SEO or Rank Math).

Proper use of title tags, meta descriptions, header tags (H1, H2, H3), and image alt-text.

Creating a clean, SEO-friendly URL structure.

Ensuring the website loads quickly and scores well on performance metrics.

Set up Google Analytics and Google Search Console to track performance.

Generate and submit an XML sitemap to Google.

4. Handover & Training:

Upon completion, provide a thorough handover of the website.
