"Key Responsibilities
Develop, test, and maintain 2D games using Typescript and the [login to view URL] library.
Collaborate closely with game designers and artists to translate concepts into concrete and high-performing game functionalities.
Process and optimize graphical assets (sprites, texture atlases, animations) and audio to ensure maximum efficiency on web browsers and mobile devices.
Implement solutions for performance optimization, memory management, and cross-browser compatibility.
Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code, following team best practices.
Contribute to the overall architecture of our games and our internal game engine.
Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in web game development.
Essential Requirements (The Ideal Candidate)
Proven experience in software development, with a portfolio of completed projects (preferably games).
Deep knowledge of Typescript and its paradigms (strong typing, classes, interfaces).
Solid experience with the [login to view URL] library for creating high-performance 2D applications and games.
Demonstrable expertise in the asset processing pipeline:
Creation of texture atlases (e.g., with TexturePacker, Shoebox, or similar tools).
Optimal image compression for the web (e.g., knowledge of WebP, optimized PNG formats).
Management and optimization of audio files (compression, streaming).
Experience in integrating animations (e.g., from JSON files, or from tools like Spine/DragonBones).
Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and browser APIs relevant for gaming (e.g., Canvas, WebGL, Web Audio API).
Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
Preferred Requirements (Bonus Points)
