Project description:
"I need an Android productivity tool built from the ground up with a clear, single-minded focus: fast, friction-free task management driven by priority tagging. Users should be able to create, edit, reorder, and archive tasks while assigning each one a priority level that can be filtered or sorted instantly.

Core flow
• Add a task in one tap, choose a priority (e.g., High, Medium, Low) and optional due date.
• View tasks in a clean list grouped or color-coded by priority.
• Swipe or long-press actions to mark complete, delete, or move tasks to an archive.
• Lightweight reminders/notifications for approaching deadlines.

Tech expectations
– Native Android (Kotlin preferred, Java acceptable).
– Modern UI using Material 3 components and theming.
– Data stored locally with Room or another persistence layer; I’m open to cloud sync (Firebase) if you can keep it optional and seamless.
– Target the current Android SDK with backward compatibility down to API 26.

Deliverables
1. Full source code pushed to a Git repository I can access.
2. Signed release-ready APK.
3. Brief README covering build steps, libraries used, and how to change priority levels or add future features such as calendar integration or Kanban views.

Acceptance
The APK must install without errors, survive rotation and process death, and retain all task data between sessions. Sorting by priority should never exceed 200 ms on a list of 1,000 tasks during testing on a mid-range device (e.g., Pixel 4a).
