"I need assistance with downgrading my Google Authenticator app from revision 7 to revision 6 on my Android device. I have a Huawei phone and all my codes are inside the revision 6, and by mistake I auto-updated the app to rev.7 and it is empty now, because Alphabet stopped supporting these Chinese phones recently. I have multiple 60-secs refresh codes stored in the rev.6 of the app, so it's crucial to ensure that no data is lost during the downgrade process. We cannot uninstall the current rev.7 completely, as that presumably will wipe out my codes, but instead we need to gently downgrade, if you know what I mean. I have a webpage that exactly explains how other people have solved this issue. I do not need to backup anything on the rev.7, because as I said above that rev is completely empty, I just need to re-acquire all the codes that are there already inside in the 6 from the time I used the rev.6, so we just need to downgrade to rev. 6 (I have the APK installer file and I downloaded already ADB AppControl).
