"I run a Shopify store with a product that is strictly seasonal. When a specific event goes live on our marketing calendar, I need that single product to disappear from Google’s search results—yet stay visible on the site, remain purchasable via direct link, and still be indexed by any other search engine.

Here’s what I’m after:
• An edit (theme, metafield, [login to view URL] rule, or other method you prefer) that tells only Google to no-index the product.
• A simple way for me to trigger this change precisely on the event date—Shopify Flow, a small scheduled script, or clear step-by-step instructions are all fine as long as I can handle it without touching code every time.

I’ll consider the job complete when:
1. The product drops out of Google search results after I trigger the event setting.
2. Internal search, direct URLs, and non-Google engines still show the item.
3. Rolling the change back is just as easy.
