"I want an Android-only app that lets me point the front-facing camera at my face and instantly shows whether my French or full beard is perfectly symmetrical. After a quick scan, the screen should overlay clear guidelines or shaded areas, call out any uneven spots, and suggest exactly where I need to trim or fill so both sides match.

How it should work
• A camera-based scan (no extra hardware) detects facial landmarks, maps my beard and moustache outline, and calculates symmetry in real time or from a still photo.
• The result appears as percentage symmetry plus visual cues—lines, colored regions, or arrows—highlighting areas that need adjustment.
• It must handle both a narrow French beard and a full beard automatically, recognising when the style changes.

Core tech & environment
Feel free to rely on proven Android tools such as ML Kit Face Detection, OpenCV, TensorFlow Lite, or similar. Kotlin or Java is fine as long as the final build supports Android 8.0 and above and runs smoothly on common mid-range devices.

Deliverables (all required)
1. Full Android Studio project with readable source code and build instructions.
2. Signed release-ready APK.
3. Brief README explaining the symmetry algorithm, third-party libraries used, and how to retrain or tweak if beard styles evolve.

Acceptance criteria
• The scan completes in under three seconds on a typical device (e.g., Pixel 4a) and keeps FPS above 15 in live mode.
• Landmark detection remains stable even with normal head movement and indoor lighting.
• Visual feedback clearly points out asymmetries of 2 mm or more along either side of the beard/moustache line.
