Project description:
"Our in-house Flutter application already handles authentication, messaging, and basic task flows for both staff and customers. The next milestone is to let any authenticated user place a secure, app-to-app voice call and have every conversation automatically recorded and stored through our Laravel backend.
What the finished feature must do
• Start and receive one-to-one voice calls inside the Flutter app without invoking the device dialer.
• Stream audio in real time with low latency using an SDK such as WebRTC, Agora, Twilio, or a similar solution that plays nicely with both iOS and Android.
• Record the entire call server-side (or reliably upload the recording once the call ends) and save it to our existing storage path, tagged to the call ID, user IDs, and timestamp.
• Expose clean Laravel API endpoints for call setup, teardown, and recording retrieval; add the needed migrations so call metadata persists in MySQL.
• Emit push/local notifications for incoming calls and update call status in our existing Vue.js admin dashboard via events or websockets.
Acceptance check
A demo account will place a call from a customer profile to an employee profile, audio will be clear, the call record will appear in the database within five seconds of hang-up, and the recording will stream back in the dashboard player without manual intervention.
Source code Delivery app (Flutter and Laravel), concise setup notes, and a short Loom walk-through will complete the hand-off." (client-provided description)
