"A clean, desktop-focused web interface is required to pull building-management data—specifically the humidity readings—via the oBix protocol, store that information in a local database, and present it in a way that supports quick analysis and deeper analytics later on.

The flow should be seamless: the UI initiates secure oBix calls, data travels into a lightweight local store (SQLite, PostgreSQL, or anything comparably easy to deploy), and the frontend then visualises both live and historical humidity trends with basic filtering and export options. Because the target device is a desktop workstation in a facilities office, generous screen real estate can be used for charts, tables, and drill-down panels without worrying about mobile breakpoints.

Consistent, intuitive UX matters as much as the plumbing behind it. A crisp dashboard, clear typography, and responsive chart components make day-to-day monitoring straightforward for non-technical staff, while a well-structured codebase (React, Vue, or similar) keeps future feature additions painless.

Acceptance criteria
• oBix connection successfully retrieves live humidity data from the building management system.
• Data persists in the local database with timestamp, location identifier, and raw value.
• Dashboard displays real-time value, historical chart, and CSV export.
• Setup guide allows another developer to reproduce the environment from scratch.
