I need a lightweight tool that helps me streamline job applications. The software should:
Allow me to enter my job search results (e.g., job links or postings I collect)
Auto-populate simple application forms with my stored profile information
Adjust my résumé or cover letter text dynamically by inserting key terms from the job description I provide
Keep a local record of each application (company, role, date, link, status)
Support exporting the history to CSV/JSON
Preferred stack: Python (Selenium, Playwright, or similar). A simple CLI or small GUI is fine.
Acceptance criteria:
Automated submission tested on at least 5 postings I provide
Per-job tailoring of résumé/cover letter text
Clean, maintainable code with short setup instructions
Deliverables:
Source code with comments
Setup guide
