"I need a small script for Windows that watches a running desktop application and, the moment a specific static button becomes visible anywhere on-screen, automatically clicks it. The button’s artwork, label, and colour never change, but its exact position can shift from one appearance to the next as the window content scrolls, so the solution must search the active window rather than rely on hard-coded coordinates.

I am open to whatever tooling you feel is most reliable—AutoHotkey, Python with PyAutoGUI/OpenCV, or a comparable approach—as long as it runs on Windows 10/11 without requiring heavy external dependencies.

Deliverables
• The complete, commented script (single file is fine)
• Any reference images or templates used for detection
• A short read-me explaining how to launch it, adjust delay/threshold settings, and add the button’s image if it changes in future

Acceptance criteria
• When the application window is in focus, the script consistently locates the static button within 500 ms of it appearing and triggers a left-click.
• No unintended clicks elsewhere in the interface during a 30-minute test session.
• All source code is provided and functions locally without internet access.
