Project description:
"I have an Excel file that already does the heavy lifting with VLOOKUPs, nested IF statements, and a handful of other cross-sheet references. I now want that same logic running live on my WordPress site as an embedded form.
Core requirements
• All spreadsheet calculations must be reproduced exactly, so the online output always matches the original workbook.
• The form will collect two kinds of input from visitors: plain text/number fields and a few dropdown lists.
• Conditional formatting currently handled in Excel is driven by custom formula rules. I need the web version to mirror those visual cues—whether that means changing field colours, displaying warning messages, or updating result boxes in real time.
Key points to keep in mind
– WordPress is already up and running; feel free to work with a plugin such as Gravity Forms, Elementor Pro Form, or a lightweight custom shortcode—whatever lets me edit formulas later without touching core files.
– The finished form has to be fully responsive and tested on current Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge versions.
– Clear documentation (or a brief loom video) showing where the formulas live and how to adjust them in future will be part of the hand-off.
If you have experience translating complex spreadsheets into browser-based tools, this should be a straightforward build. I’ll supply the workbook and walk through the logic before you start." (client-provided description)
