"I run a Shopify Plus store and some customers don’t receive our emails —

Specifically, customers with Hotmail email addresses are not receiving gift cards (purchased via our gift card Shopify app plug-in)

This gift card app traced the problem to our DNS: the current SPF record calls too many “include:” look-ups and exceeds the 10-lookup limit, so messages are filtered before they reach the inbox.

Nothing else has changed recently—no new mail provider etc. I now need an expert who can flatten the SPF record.

Deliverables
• A flattened SPF string that keeps us under the 10-lookup threshold while covering Shopify, our help-desk, and any future senders I outline.
• Updated DNS TXT record (you can guide or execute—access can be arranged).
• Verification: a test report showing “pass” for SPF on Gmail, Outlook, and at least one third-party checker, plus confirmation that real transactional emails land in the inbox." (client-provided description)
